DigiMeld CEO Alex Mashinsky on Beet.tv

DigiMeld CEO Alex Mashinsky in his interview with Beet.tv speaks about his visions for the major flood of content from traditional television to the web. Mashinsky believes there will be an exponential growth of video consumption online in the near future, and he believes DigiMeld's Grid streaming technology is the solution.
In the US we are still lagging three to four years behind the technology curve compared to countries in Asia including Japan, Korea, and China. Mashinsky believes that we will catch up to those countries in respect to the amount of online video we consume and adoption of new technologies here in the US. What DigiMeld's technology provides is a solution to the problems Mashinsky specifies during the interview: cost, scale, and ad revenue. DigiMeld's grid networking system actually thrives when the number of concurrent viewers spikes during a stream, unlike all other video delivery solutions currently available. DigiMeld's grid network is uniquely designed to deliver high quality video to large numbers of viewers while providing highly efficicient economics. DigiMeld's technology is ahead of the curve, and a facilitator for the flood of content expected to move to the internet.
